October 2022 Greenwich Sales

November 7, 2022 (Greenwich, CT) - The Greenwich Association of REALTORS® announces the statistics for home sales in The Town of Greenwich, CT for the month of October 2022.

There were 30 single-family residential closings reported during this period according to figures provided by The Greenwich Multiple Listing Service, Inc., the multiple listing service used by REALTORS® in the Greenwich area.

The number of single-family residential closings decreased compared to October 2021 when there were 43 closings. The median sale price for a single-family home increased to $2,402,500 from the median sales price in October 2021, which was $2,250,000.

The average days on the market (DOM) for residential homes was 35 days; which was a decrease from 134 days in October 2021.

There were 15 condo/co-op residential closings reported during this time period; which was a decrease from October 2021 when there were 19 closings. 

The median sale price for a condo/co-op decreased to $699,000 from the median sales price in October 2021, which was $818,340. 

The average days on the market (DOM) for condo/co-op residential homes was 77; which was a decrease from 116 days in October 2021.

"October 2022 had thirty closings with a median sales price of $2,402,500; an increase of six percent, from the median sales price in October 2021, which was $2,250,000. Greenwich was the sector in town with the most closings, ending September with eighteen sales and a median sales price of $2402,500. Condo/Co-Op sales had fifteen closings in October 2022 with a median sales price of $699,000. The Dollar Volume for Single Family homes, October 2022 is $83,854,402.
